How is Qixit Pronounced?
Qixit™ is pronounced exactly the same as “Kicks-It.” Like kicking a bad habit, or kicking it out of the ball park.
How can I get “free” credits?
Advertisers are willing to pay for your time and attention!
Everything starts once you sign up for your free Qixit™ account. Eligible new accounts will immediately begin messages associated with Qixit credits attached as postage to offers related to your interests. And the postage rates will be determined by you. If an advertiser is not willing to pay your postage rate, you will never see it in your inbox.
And the longer you use Qixit, the more credits you can receive! If you are able to collect just $1 worth of credits per day, over the course of a year, you might accumulate hundreds of dollars worth of credits! And these Qixit credits can be instantly used to buy online content from publishers, game providers, and media hosts who accept Qix Credits™.
The Qixit credits you may earn will depend on your interests and interactions with Qixit. The more you use Qixit, and the more you buy through Qixit, the more valuable you will become to advertisers . . . and that will be the chief determining factor in how many credits you might collect.

How can Qixit™ pay me for reading my messages?
Actually, we make advertisers pay you using our closed-loop Qixit Credits Platform. Sure, we charge them a set up fee (hey, we’ve got programmers who need to eat!), but 70% of the ad dollars they spend to buy postage delivery credits go into your Qixit credits account. And that’s how we think it should be. . . after all, it’s your attention they want, so why not have them pay you for your time?

How aliases, display names, and your balance fit together
An address for mail and for credit history
Each alias is a messaging address. People send mail to that name, and exchanges of Qix Credits in your account history are attributed to the alias you used for that transaction.
One shared balance
All of your aliases share the same Qix Credits balance. Money received or spent under any alias changes that one balance. One password signs you in, whichever alias you type.
A profile of its own
Each alias has a separate profile, similar to a social profile: photo, bio, and links. You choose how much of that profile other people can see. Hiding a profile does not hide the alias as a mail address.
Display names are not aliases
The alias is the unique address, such as BlueJelly99. It is not case-sensitive, so John and joHn are the same name, and it needs at least 3 letters and 2 numbers. The display name is the label people see, such as Blue Jelly. Display names do not have to be unique, so more than one person can show the same label. The alias is what mail and credit history use.
Verified and Traceable Identities
By default, aliases are anonymous. Your display name may, or may not be, your legal name.
If you want to verify for others that your display name is accurate, you can complete the verification of a government ID in Account settings. Once this is done, ‘ID Verified Name’ badge will appear next to any alias and any matching user name you choose. This badge gives others confidence they are communicating with the real you.
Once a user is ID verified, any anonymous aliases associated with that account will also receive the Traceable badge. In the event of a court order regarding criminal conduct involving an anonymous but traceable alias, the ID verified name and government ID number can be shared with authorities. This discourages scammers and bad actors from using even an anonymous alias, and gives you greater confidence when dealing with both ID Verified and Traceable aliases.
How many you can create?
Personal accounts include up to three aliases at no charge. A useful pair is a public name such as John_Smith-1040 and a less identifying name such as BlueJelly99. A semi-anonymous alias does not show your true name to vendors or advertisers, and it still belongs to this same account and balance.
